RECIPE DETAILS

Ingredients

  • Sweet Potatoes - 5 large

  • Carrots - 4 large

  • Broccoli - 2 small heads

  • Frozen Peas - 1 cup

  • Chickpeas - 1 can

  • Boneless Chicken Breasts or Ground Chicken - 4 pounds

  • Eggs in Shell - 4 large

  • Water - 6 cups

  • Nutri-Pet Nupro All Natural Supplement (or alternative supplement) - 1 serving

  • Animal Organ (liver or chicken hearts) - 1 serving

Instructions

  1. Chop sweet potatoes, carrots, and broccoli to the appropriate size for your dog.

  2. In a large pot, combine sweet potatoes, carrots, broccoli, peas, chickpeas, chicken (either breasts or ground), eggs, and water. The water level should be the same or slightly over the food items.

  3. Cook over medium heat until the chicken is fully cooked and the vegetables are soft.

  4. Let everything cool down after cooking.

  5. Remove eggs, shell them, and chop or crumble them back into the pot.

  6. If using chicken breasts, shred them into small pieces and return to the pot. If using ground chicken, skip this step.

  7. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.

  8. For smaller dogs, consider using an immersion blender to create a more uniform texture.

  9. Once cooled, store the mixture in Tupperware containers in the freezer.

  10. Defrost as needed for use, and utilize the fridge for short-term storage (up to two weeks).

  11. When serving, add the supplement according to your dog's weight (as per labeling).

  12. Cook organ meat separately and sprinkle it on each serving.
