Salmon and Potato Recipe

Ingredients

  • Water - 1.5 cup

  • Russet potatoes - 11 ounces

  • Carrot - 1 large

  • Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon

  • Egg whites - 0.5 cup

  • Spinach - 1 cup

  • Salmon - 8 ounces

  • Canned pumpkin - 0.33 cup


Instructions

  1. Heat a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.

  2. Add 1/2 cup water and diced potatoes. Cover the pot and let the potatoes simmer for 8-10 minutes until they have softened.

  3. Uncover and add grated carrot and coconut oil. Stir to combine and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Move potatoes and carrots to one side of the pot.

  5. Add egg whites and let them cook for 4-5 minutes until set.

  6. Use a wooden spoon to break the eggs into small pieces, then stir to combine with the potatoes and carrots.

  7. Add spinach and salmon and stir to combine.

  8. Cover the pot and cook for an additional 7-8 minutes until the salmon is cooked.

  9. Stir in canned pumpkin and remove from heat.

  10. Set aside to cool slightly before feeding to your pup.
