This lamb meatloaf recipe for dogs is an easy, one bowl recipe that your dogs will love. Serve sliced with a side of cooked dog friendly vegetables for a main meal. Lamb is full of omega fatty acids that keep your dog's coat looking shiny and healthy.

Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 1.5 pound

  • Pumpkin puree - 0.5 cup

  • Carrot - 1 medium

  • Rolled oats - 0.25 cup

  • Flaxseed meal - 0.5 cup

  • Parsley - 0.25 cup

  • Egg - 1 large


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and lightly grease and line a 2lb loaf tin with parchment paper, or use a fun novelty dog bone tin if desired.

  2. Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly to incorporate well.

  3. Spoon the meatloaf mixture into the tin and spread evenly and firmly.

  4. Bake for 30-40 minutes until the top of the meatloaf is firm.

  5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before slicing and serving.
