RECIPE DETAILS
Ingredients
Oats - 3 cups
Unsweetened Applesauce - 1 cup
Coconut Oil - 3 tablespoons
Ground Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
Whole Wheat or All-Purpose Flour - 0.25 cup
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add the oats to a food processor and grind until they reach a fine powder. If you do not have a food processor you can grind the oats up in a blender or coffee grinder.
Add the applesauce, coconut oil and cinnamon and blend again.
Add in the whole wheat or all-purpose flour to form a dough.
Remove from the food processor and roll out on a lightly floured surface until about 1/4 inch thick (0.6 cm).
Use a cookie cutter to cut out the treats.
Lay the treats on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until lightly golden on the bottom.
Let cool before giving to your dog.
